Den Gyldene Freden has been serving traditional Swedish home cooking since 1722. Both well-known cultural figures and distant visitors, as well as local regulars, flock to our historic premises in Gamla Stan to enjoy the delicious food and authentic atmosphere – whether for everyday dining or special occasions. We at Den Gyldene Freden are proud of our heritage and are constantly working to evolve classic flavors into modern cuisine. Our philosophy is that good food takes time to prepare and enjoy. We are now looking for a chef who feels confident in classical cuisine. We also value someone who is meticulous and dedicated to their craft.

We offer you the opportunity to work with high-quality ingredients, in a well-organized business with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We are currently seeking a skilled service chef with broad knowledge of traditional cooking. Here, we prepare food from scratch, focusing on flavors and craftsmanship. You will be involved in all aspects of the kitchen, from mise en place during the day to service in the evenings.
